The Clerk had contacted DDDC, who had confirmed that it can take several months for utility services to be transferred and the parish council will not be charged until transfer finally takes place. 105.17 1)         Hall Orchard – Car Park Re-surfacing: Now completed. 57.19 1)           Site Meeting to discuss flooding issues: The Clerk was requested to contact Cllrs Twigg and Wakeman to register a complaint regarding the drains. The parish council had been informed that the drains would be cleaned in August, but this had not taken place and a recent potential flooding event had been averted due to the swift actions of parish councillors and residents. 32.19 2)           Roundabout in Hall Orchard: Mr Chris Bettney is undertaking this repair. 32.19 4)           Dog signs in Hall Orchard, Sign on Hall Orchard Gate and other signs: A site meeting will be arranged to decide where signs are to be located. 32.19 6)           Trees in Churchyard: Date awaited for commencement of the work.   44.19 6)           Retention of Parish Council Documents: The shed has now arrived. The Clerk was requested to contact the Archives Department in Matlock regarding archiving of parish council minutes. 47 l9 1)            Email from Air Ambulance re placement of textile bank: The existing bank will be removed shortly and replaced with the Air Ambulance bank. 58.19 3)           Village information signs: For further discussion. 70.19 2)           Lighting in Court Lane: The Clerk had contacted Waterloo Housing requesting that the lights are dimmed at night, or put on a timer, and Waterloo had agreed to take action, but no action taken as yet. The Clerk to pursue this. 70.19 6)           Additional Picnic Tables in Hall Orchard: The parish council agreed to look at the suggested websites and select a suitable design. 70.19 10)         Junction Ashford Lane/Longstone Lane: Vegetation now cleared. 81.19 1)           Bins left on Footway: Monitoring to continue. 93.19 1)           Cemetery: Two invoices had been received regarding rates payable on the public conveniences for 2018/19 (£30.12) and 2019/20 (£120.13). The cemetery had previously been eligible for small business rate relief, but the relief has now been awarded to the property with the larger rateable value, i.e. the conveniences, so rates are now payable on the cemetery. 93.13 3)           Christmas Tree: It was agreed that 2 Christmas trees would be ordered. 94.19 1)           Fallen Branches on Daybell’s Bank: Phil Riley is auctioning these. 94.19 2)           Work at the Old School: The Chairman confirmed that plans are to be submitted to the Peak Park Authority soon and that the insurance company had insisted that the windows be boarded up. 105.19 1)         Quotations for grass mowing 2020/21: It was agreed that quotations would be obtained for the grass mowing for 2020/21. 105.19 2)         Arrangements for paying-in honesty box takings: A paying in book was passed to Cllr Taft, who will arrange for the honesty box takings for the conveniences and car park to be paid into the parish council account via the Ashford post office. 106.19             Items raised by Members:  106.19 1)         Vegetation at junction of A6/Buxton Road: The Clerk was requested to contact Cllr Twigg regarding this. 106.19 2)         Dam in River Wye: The Clerk was requested to contact the Environment Agency to request that they arrange to clear the small dam constructed in the river.       106.19 3)         White Lining: It was agreed that white lining is required in the following locations and the Clerk was requested to contact the District/County Councillors to arrange: 

  1. a) Junction of Watts Green/Church Street as motorists park on the corner representing a safety hazard.

 

  1. b) Entrance to car park on Court Lane

 107.19             Planning Matters: 1) Application: NP/DDD/0919/1016 – Roadside Barn – Conversion of barn to dwelling: The parish council has no objection to this application. 2) Application: NP/DDD/0819/0934 – The Candle House – Alteration to interior and exterior: The parish council has no objection to this application. 108.19             Financial Matters Bank Balances Noted: 1)         Business Reserve Account:                                                         £30,201.30Current Account:                                                                               £250.00 2) to approve payments of accounts:
