The instruction manual will be re-circulated to all parish councillors. 110.14 2) Damaged Antique Lamp Post: It was reported that the lamp post would be changed in due course. 32.15 6) Repair of Roundabout and other Play Equipment: The roundabout has been repaired by Enviroplay. Mr Barrie Marsden has undertaken the remaining repair work. 42.16 4) Band Concert 2017: It was agreed that Matlock Band would be booked for a further band concert in 2017. Cllr Windle agreed to confirm the well dressing dates. 55.16 2) Blocked Drains: Cllr Twigg reported that she would contact DCC to arrange for the drains on Pennyunk Lane to be cleared. Steve Mead of DCC had arranged for the repair of the broken drain on Church Street. 55.16 3) Defibrillators: The Chairman confirmed that Dr Jan Mundy is compiling an article for the parish magazine. 66.16 2) Public Footpath Maintenance: It was reported that Cllr Taft had undertaken much of the public footpath maintenance work, for which a fee of £160.00 had been incurred for the hire of a tractor. The parish council authorised reimbursement. The vacancy will be advertised in the August parish magazine. The allocation from DCC for 2016/17 is £430.00. 76.16 1) Cedar Tree – The Vicarage: Mr Pykett from The Old Vicarage had advised that the Cedar tree overhanging Vicarage Lane had been removed and would be replaced. It was agreed that the other Cedar trees overhanging Vicarage Lane also require inspection and that the Clerk would contact Dave Frost (Conservation Officer at PDNPA) requesting him to contact the Chairman to arrange a site meeting. 77.16 Items reported by Members: 77.16 1) Flood Committee Meeting: To be included on the September agenda with a view to arranging a separate meeting. 77.16 2) Hall Orchard Trees: It was reported that a branch had fallen in the Hall Orchard. The Clerk was requested to contact Dave Frost of the PDNPA to arrange an inspection with the Chairman. 77.16 3) Use of Football Pitch for Friendly Matches (Juvenile): The parish council had no objection to friendly matches being played during the summer months, provided the pitch was appropriately maintained. 78.16 Planning Matters: 78.16 1) Decision: Willow Cottage – Granted subject to conditions 78.16 2) Enforcement Notice: 4 Court Lane: The parish council supports the opinions of the Peak District National Park Authority. 79.16 Financial Matters 1) Bank Balances Noted:Business Reserve Account: £28,543.45Current Account: £250.00 2) To approve payments:

80.16 Correspondence 80.16 a) Consultation re Closure of Newholme Hospital: Cllr Froggatt reported the implications of the closure. Cllr Twigg presented a petition for signing by those present who wished to do so. This is also available on line. 81.16 Date of Next Meeting: The next parish council meeting will be held on Tuesday 6th September 2016 at 7.30 pm in Ashford Old School Rooms.
