- a) Transfer of Title and Funding Agreement documents: Ongoing
101.17 1) Website: It was unanimously agreed that Mr Christopher Harrison had made significant improvements to the website. 93.17 2) Repairs to Boundary Wall (Hall Orchard): It was reported that Mr Richard Harvey had arranged for repair of the wall between his 2 properties and the Hall Orchard. It was also reported that the car park boundary wall requires repair: Cllr Hill agreed to ask DDDC if they would undertake this whilst we await transfer of the conveniences to the parish council. The wall between the Hall Orchard and The Gables also requires repair – this will be discussed at the next parish council meeting. 105.17 1) Sports Equipment for Hall Orchard: Ongoing 141.17 2) Commemoration of Armistice Day 2018: A meeting had been held on 25th September at which the final arrangements had been made. A cheque for £500 was passed to Cllr Williams for the Institute Committee as the parish council’s donation towards a commemorative wooden sculpture to be carved from a dead tree in the grounds of the Institute, as agreed at the last meeting. 57.18 1) Band Concert by Matlock Band –The Clerk had contacted Matlock Band to request The Floral Dance at next year’s concert on Sunday 23rd June 2019. Matlock Band had agreed. 57.18 2) Parish Council Insurance Renewal and Flood Trailer: A quotation for the additional insurance cover had been received from BHIB and circulated to all parish councillors. This will be discussed at the next meeting. The Clerk was also requested to report the recent theft of the flood trailer and its contents 81.18 1) Email from Mr Christopher Harrison re state of bin on Sheepwash Bridge: Cllr Froggatt is arranging, but the bin has not been replaced as yet. 82.18 1) Repairs to Playground Equipment: A quotation of £3,500 had been received for maintenance work. To be discussed again at the next meeting. 93.18 4) Christmas Tree: It was reported that 2 Christmas trees had been ordered at a total cost of £500.00. The Clerk was requested to find out where Cllr Spinks purchased the lights from last year and inform Cllr Sidery. 105.18 1) Quotations for grass mowing 2019/20: The Clerk was requested to obtain quotations from Mr Phil Riley and Mr William Brindley. 105.18 2) Information Board – Sheepwash Bridge: The Chairman reported that the board had been removed for safety purposes. The Clerk was requested to inform the PDNPA and to request that the board be replaced if possible with parish council approval of the information to be displayed. 105.18 3) Allotment Application: An allotment application had been received from Jade Van Konijnenberg, who will be placed on the waiting list. 105.18 4) Institute Clock and Tree: The Chairman reported that the clock is being replaced and the tree is being carved (see item 141.17 2) above). 106.18 Items reported by Members: 94.18 1) Maintenance of Pump Shelter in front of the Old School (Buxton Road/Fennel Street): Cllr Williams agreed to undertake this work. The materials will be supplied by the parish council. 106.18 1) State of Maintained Grass Area at Highfield following Gas Main Work by CADENT: The Clerk was requested to contact CADENT with a request to re-instate the grassed area which had been used as a storage area during the recent gas repair works. 107.18 Planning Matters: 1) Application - NP/DDD/0818/0696: Greenfields Farm, Ashford Lane - variation of conditions 2 and 9 on NP/DDD/0317/0305 (referring to bat loft): The parish council object to the removal or variation of conditions in that the councillors are of the opinion that the condition regarding the retention of the bat loft should remain in place. The parish council had subsequently responded as follows to a subsequent email from PDNPA: The parish council feel that to have two ecology reports, one apparently contradicting the other, must call into question the whole validity of such reports. The development site lies in an area which would appear to be excellent habitat with potentially high bat activity. In light of that, the parish council’s response should remain. The parish council therefore wish to maintain its objection. 2) Application – NP/DDD/0918/0854: 4 Court Lane: The parish council have no objection to this application. 3) Decision – NP/DDD/0818/0700: Mill Barn, Ashford Road: Granted subject to conditions. 108.18 Financial Matters Bank Balances Noted:1) Business Reserve Account: £23,087.13Current Account: £250.00 2) to approve payments of accounts:
