  1. a) Village Sweep: Completed
  2. b) Street Lights: Standard lanterns are being replaced with heritage lanterns, as per email of 28 11 18.
  3. c) Hedge on A6: Ongoing
  4. d) Ashford Sign: Undergrowth requires cutting back as it is currently obscuring the sign.
  5. e) Action Grants: Cllr Twigg reported that these are now available.
  6. f) Bins: It was pointed out to Cllr Twigg that, in breach of DDDC regulations, bins are left out permanently on the footway in the following locations and sometimes blow over, causing a hazard to public safety both on the footpath and the road:

 Dukes DriveCornbrookHillmortonUnderwood Cllr Twigg agreed to make DDDC aware of this situation and to ask them to make contact with the properties concerned. Cllr Twigg departed at 7.55 pm and was thanked for her attendance. 127.18             Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held 15th November 2018: The minutes were proposed by Cllr Taft as a true record, seconded by Cllr Williams and signed by the Chairman.128.18             Confidentiality: None 129.18             Items reported by the Clerk: 92.17 1)           Public Conveniences: Transfer completed on19th December 2018.             105.17 1)         Sports Equipment for Hall Orchard: Ongoing.  To be reviewed in the spring. 57.18 2)           Parish Council Insurance - Flood Trailer: The insurance company have requested details of the original invoice for the trailer and contents, together with a list of contents and quotes/estimates to replace the items.  The Clerk was requested to gather the information. 81.18 1)           Email from Mr Christopher Harrison re state of bin on Sheepwash Bridge: The bin has been replaced and has been positioned against the Riverside boundary wall. 82.18 1)           Repairs to Playground Equipment: Enviroplay had revised their quotation to £3,000.00 and it was agreed that they should be asked to proceed with the repair work. 93.18 4)           Christmas Trees: It was agreed that the Christmas trees looked very impressive and thanks were conveyed to all concerned. 105.18 2)         Information Board – Sheepwash Bridge: Ongoing. 117.18 1)         Blue Plastic Clay Bags on Sheepwash Bridge: Cllr McGoverne reported that these will be removed in due course. 118.18 1)         Nos. 22 & 23 Fennel Street:  The Clerk had written to the occupiers of these properties with the request that they remove their bins from the footpath as they represent a safety hazard.  The bins had subsequently been removed. 121.18 2)         Garage in Watts Green: The Clerk had written to Miss Ann Hughes regarding the possible lease of her garage to the parish council for storage of flood defence equipment, well dressing equipment etc.  Miss Hughes does not wish to lease the garage, but is happy for parish council and well dressing equipment to be stored there as required. 129.18 1)         Email from Jay Hallsworth re use of Hall Orchard: It was agreed that the Hall Orchard could be used for football training sessions, but the Clerk was asked to point out to Mr Hallsworth that the ground is not marked out as a football pitch. 130.18             Items reported by Members: 130.18 1)         Wall between Hall Orchard and The Gables: The Clerk was requested to write to the occupant of The Gables asking for the wall to be repaired.130.18 2)         Car parked on grass on Trinity Close: The Clerk was requested to report this to Waterloo Housing 131.18             Planning Matters: 1) Decision - NP/DDD/0918/0854: 4 Court Lane: Refused2) Application – NP/DDD/1118/1053: The Grange, Greaves Lane – Internal alterations and extension: The parish council has no objection to this application3) Application – NP/DDD/1118/1073: The Candle House, Greaves Lane- Replacement of rear extension, interior bathrooms etc: The parish council has no objection to this application. 132.18             Financial Matters Bank Balances Noted:1)         Business Reserve Account:                                                           £20,733.88Current Account:                                                                               £250.00 2)  to approve payments of accounts:
