MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
HELD ON TUESDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER 2015 IN ASHFORD SCHOOL

99.15 Minutes of Parish Council Meeting held 27th August 2015: The minutes were corrected to indicate that Cllr Tillbrook was present and also item 90.15 1) Gate – Bull’s Head was amended to read: It was agreed that a formal request would be given due consideration. These corrections made, the minutes were proposed by Cllr Williams as a true record, seconded by Cllr Sidery and signed by the Chairman.

101.15 Items reported by the Clerk:
114.13 Automatic External Defibrillators: The results of an enquiry into the recent incident had now been published and circulated to all parish councillors.
31.15 1) Insurance Policy: Valuation of the list of items compiled by the Chairman is ongoing.
110.14 2) Damaged Antique Lamp Post: Arrangements are ongoing.
32.15 6) Repair of Playground Equipment & Playground Inspection: The Clerk reported receipt of a quotation from Enviroplay Ltd for £30 for playground inspection. It was agreed that this would be accepted and Enviroplay would be asked to proceed.
32.15 9) Parish Council Website: Gareth Pugh of Pigeon Tech IT Solutions had quoted a figure of around £400 to produce a website similar to that of Stoney Middleton. It was agreed that he should be invited to the start of the October parish council meeting and that the meeting should therefore start at 7.00 pm
89.15 9) Outstanding Paperwork: Register of Interests still awaited from Cllr Akeroyd.
89.15 10) Bank Mandate: Still awaited from Cllr McGoverne.
101.15 8) Christmas Tree: Cllr Taft agreed to liaise with Cllr Spinks with a view to obtaining a Christmas tree from Haddon Hall. It was agreed that the Christmas tree should be erected on 5th/6th December.
102.15 Items reported by Members:
78.15 1) Gate to Sheepwash Pen: Cllr McGoverne agreed to approach John Carrington, asking him to contact Cllr Windle to arrange a site visit.
102.15 2) Shrubbery near Conveniences: It was agreed that this requires cutting. It was agreed that Cllr Taft would ask Chris Whitham to do this.
102.15 3) New Toilet Seat: Cllr Taft reported that a new toilet seat is required. It was agreed that he would contact a plumber regarding this.
102.15 4) Derbyshire Fire Service: The Clerk was requested to write a letter of thanks to Derbyshire Fire Service following their recent assistance with the fire in Ashford, stressing that it is hoped the fire station in Bakewell will not close.
102.15 5) Grass Bank, Highfields: The Clerk was requested to approach Dales Housing to inform them that it is now taking our Contractor longer than at the outset to complete this work and requesting that they increase the allowance from £100 to £150.
103.15 6) Seating in Hall Orchard: To be included on the agenda of next meeting.

Letter from DDDC re change in charges for wheeled bin: to be included on the agenda of the next meeting.
106.15 Date of Next Meeting: The next parish council meeting will be held on Thursday 22nd October 2015 at 7.00 pm in Ashford Old School Rooms, starting 30 minutes earlier than usual as Gareth Pugh of Pigeon Tech IT Solutions will be attending the start of the meeting to discuss the parish council website.
