Dog Fouling in the Hall Orchard

It would appear to have become accepted practice for certain dog owners in the village to allow their dogs to roam freely in the Hall Orchard, despite notices stating that dogs must be on a lead at all times.  The parish council has repeatedly endeavoured to remind parishioners that the Hall Orchard is a children’s play area where children must be at liberty to run and play without fear of stepping in dog excrement, the health hazards of which are widely publicised and well known to all. If the culprits continue to ignore the requests of the parish council to keep their dogs on a lead and clean up dog litter, the parish council will have no alternative but to ban dogs completely from the Hall Orchard. Ashford in the Water Parish Council
